Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Graphic Design
Early Childhood-6th Grade Certification
Guided Reading Workshop
I began teaching Kindergarten in 2016 at Friona Primary School.
This is my 2nd year at Friona ISD.
In Kindergarten, I teach English Language Arts, Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies and Art.
Before coming to Friona ISD to teach Kindergarten, I was a Graphic Designer at a marketing agency in Amarillo, Texas. I’m able to use my skills in graphic design to make some really neat things for my classroom, that I would have to purchase from someone else or just wouldn’t have otherwise. I’m surprised at how much I can attribute to my team with my skills in graphic design and designing new materials on the computer.
I am married to Jake Ebeling, who coaches Varsity Boys Basketball, Varsity Boys & Girls Golf, Freshman Football and assists with Varsity Football here in Friona. We were married July 18, 2015 in Canyon, Texas. We had our first baby, Baker Lain Ebeling in January 2018. We have 2 dogs, a border collie, blue heeler mix named Molli and a (chunky) mini aussie, heeler mix named Remi.
I love to draw, paint, color and design in my free time. I have recently picked up the skill of calligraphy or handwriting. I have made birthday and Christmas presents for family and friends. I also love interior design, my favorite channel is HGTV and my favorite TV show is “Fixer Upper”. I love watching how Chip and Joanna are able to transform homes. My husband and I have countless conversations of “If we owned this house we would…” and I can’t wait for the day when we can make those home dreams a reality. I also like going on walks with my husband, son and dogs. Getting out of the house and doing some physical activity is like a breath of fresh air for me.
